Position Overview:

As an Aerospace Engineer, you will be tasked with the comprehensive engineering design, analysis, and documentation of aerodynamic structures along with mechanical systems and their sub-assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential manufacturing support to both fabricators and the installation/operations teams.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with prevalent manufacturing techniques.
  • Effectively communicate technical progress and challenges to internal management and provide briefings to clients as required.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers to foster their professional development.
  • Lead, manage, and document the development of innovative products.
  • Design solutions aimed at highly constrained environments concerning size, weight, and power.
  • Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques proficiently.
  • Interpret and formulate requirements along with analytical models.
  • Apply knowledge of empirical aircraft stress analysis methods.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in finite element analysis is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with application software such as FEMAP/NASTRAN is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and the ability to maintain a security clearance.
