Job Summary

National HME, Inc. is seeking a Medical Service Technician to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Medical Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up medical equipment to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including 16-foot box trucks or vans.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT and FDA regulations related to oxygen and DME delivery.
  • Prepare daily routes and required supply lists, and load equipment onto the vehicle.
  • Deliver, unload, and set up medical equipment to full functionality.
  • Provide basic equipment operation training to patients and caregivers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including rotating on-call shifts.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check with no major violations in the past 5 years.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Applicant must complete a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
