Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory University. As a Clinical Research Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of clinical research trials, studies, and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  • Recruit and screen potential study participants, and provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Oversee financial accounts to ensure operations remain within approved levels.
  • Perform patient evaluations, administer medications, and provide nursing support for specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
  • Make referrals to in-house or community professionals and serve as a clinical resource.
  • Collect and analyze data, and assist in developing data collection systems and compiling reports.
  • Assist in writing research grants, publications, and study materials.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Three years of related nursing experience.
  • Credentialed through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II.
