We are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team at XPO Logistics, Inc. in the role of Shipping Inspection. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of shipments on the dock, utilizing handheld devices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review inspection reports to identify potential issues and discrepancies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of shipments on the dock, verifying dimensions and weight against bills of lading.
  • Verify BOL and billing descriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Gather relevant information related to the shipment, including container numbers and carrier details.

In this role, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure that all shipments meet our high standards of quality and safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
