Job Title: Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join our team at World Relief. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading our fundraising efforts, building relationships with donors and stakeholders, and promoting our mission to engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead fundraising efforts to support World Relief's mission and programs
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase donor engagement and revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and partners
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop effective communication strategies and materials
  • Supervise and support a team of staff members in their fundraising and outreach efforts
Requirements:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Undergraduate degree or combination of related education and experience
  • 3 years of related professional work, at least one year in the nonprofit sector
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and social media tools
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum BA in marketing or related field
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment
  • Bilingual
Physical Requirements:

The employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations. The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights of 10-15 pounds is also required. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
