Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Truck Operator plays a crucial role in collecting waste cooking oil from grease traps at various establishments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates a pumper truck to empty customers' wastewater containers.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of trap areas, including cleaning up any spilled grease as needed.
  • Provides customers with receipts for services rendered.
  • Takes full responsibility for the company vehicle, ensuring it remains clean and well-maintained.
  • Completes daily vehicle condition reports and operates within all Company safety standards.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service, providing prompt and courteous interactions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Possesses a Class B CDL license with tanker endorsement.
  • Registered on Clearinghouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement is highly desirable.
  • Two or more years of experience operating commercial vehicles equipped with vacuum systems are preferred.
  • A good driving record is essential.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal staff and external customers.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires constant walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Lifting objects up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly reaches with hands and arms.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in a commercial vehicle that serves between 10-15 customers daily and in a plant environment.
