Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to take charge of our financial modeling and analytics. This role will serve as a critical resource for various departments, providing expert financial guidance and analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in establishing efficient processes while conducting in-depth financial assessments and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare regulatory reports in compliance with guidelines from relevant financial authorities.
  2. Conduct financial analysis and reporting for management, identifying growth opportunities and presenting comprehensive metrics that reflect the company's financial status.
  3. Monitor and analyze operating expenses and revenue trends across global operations.
  4. Oversee the development of company-wide forecasting models, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet analyses.
  5. Create financial analysis templates and models, consolidating data for management reports and presentations.
  6. Perform variance analyses to identify month-over-month changes and their key drivers, while tracking industry trends.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and ownership of projects.
  8. Deliver ad hoc reporting and analytics to provide real-time insights.
  9. Implement policies and procedures to enhance and automate financial processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Consulting, or Investment Banking.
  3. Proficient in three-statement modeling.
  4. Strong grasp of accounting principles, including accruals and the distinctions between P/L and B/S accounts.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating and maintaining financial models and reports.
  7. Experience in developing reporting templates and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and similar tools.
  8. Familiarity with policy implementation and project management.
  9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set clear objectives and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  2. Familiarity with FP&A software tools like Vena, Datarails, or Prophix.
  3. Experience with Oracle NetSuite and other ERP systems.
  4. Background in the fintech or cryptocurrency exchange sectors.
