About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Davis Development, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to anticipate, identify, and correct any issues related to the property, implementing procedures to prevent such problems from arising in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all maintenance tasks for units and equipment, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the entire Maintenance Team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle their responsibilities.
  • Manage work orders, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Confirm apartments are updated and move-in ready, meeting the expectations of our residents.
  • Perform all mechanical walks for construction, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring we have the necessary resources to complete tasks effectively.
  • Schedule vendors and contractors, working closely with construction to address any issues that may arise.
  • Use your expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and regulations governing the storage and management of hazardous materials.
  • Inspect the condition of physical properties throughout the community, identifying and correcting any unsafe conditions.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of maintenance experience in multi-family property management, preferably with a strong background in EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via all communication channels.
  • Ability to lift equipment and appliances up to 50 lbs, with a valid driver's license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other duties.
  • Will drive a golf cart, working over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate.
