Nurse Oncology Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology unit at Trident Medical Center.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, day shift position offering specialized care for patients with cancer. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state and specialty standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of patient care including screening, preparation, nursing care, and arranging admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Manage patient records, posting tests, examination results, and administering medications as per physician orders.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and refer when needed.
- A graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, Associate's Degree or higher required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
