Fort Mill Medical Center is seeking a skilled ED Tech to join our team in a Full Time Nights position. As an ED Tech, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting the nursing staff in our Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care to meet the needs of activities of daily living, including operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Take and record vital signs and I/Os.
- Assist licensed staff and physicians as directed within approved standards.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Assume responsibility for meeting the basic needs of all patients assigned.
- Provide care to a patient population ranging from infant to geriatric, unless otherwise indicated.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of six months of work experience, completion of Nursing Assistant Course, or currently enrolled in a nursing program, or current EMT certification.
- CNA, and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited Nursing Curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
