Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor in collaboration with the Director is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. This role is a designated leader responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the population. The target 100 behavior is promoted at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Competent in all areas assigned
• Proven leadership skills to include achievement, management, interpersonal relations, problem solving, critical thinking, positive communications, and personal performance

Requirements:

• A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
• BLS required upon hire
• PALS, ACLS, and CPI required within orientation
• BSN preferred
• Relevant mandatory certifications for department within orientation period

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of ED experience with demonstrated leadership ability
• Certifications as required by designated unit assignment
