About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Peri-operative team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional intra-operative care to patients, prioritizing their individual needs and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Assess and monitor patients' medical status, providing general nursing care and addressing urgent and emergent surgical situations.
  • Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Review charts for completeness, adhering to documentation protocols, and communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience.
  • 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
  • BSN is preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required.
  • CNOR preferred.
