POSITION SUMMARY:

The Radiologic Technologist II operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce clinical radiographs and conducts routine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and practices. This role involves delivering patient services utilizing various imaging modalities and ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age demographics, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The technologist demonstrates proficiency in advanced imaging techniques, such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures, while providing complex technical care tailored to meet specific patient requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operate radiologic equipment effectively to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
2. Conduct routine diagnostic procedures adhering to industry standards.
3. Provide compassionate patient care across diverse age groups.
4. Perform advanced imaging techniques as required.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.

CERTIFICATION:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

BLS certification is mandatory.
