Job Summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist II to join our team in the Outpatient department. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as necessary to perform high-quality breast imaging procedures.
  • Perform advanced breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic and MRI biopsies, and demonstrate proficiency with sterile procedures.
  • Provide complex technical care to meet the identified needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) - ARRT.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • BLS certification.
