Job Title: Buyer/Planner

We are seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the purchase of a combination of fabricated parts, subcontract manufacturing, production tooling, and raw materials.
  • Prepare purchase orders and work closely with Engineering and Quality teams.
  • Prioritize and expedite orders as necessary, analyzing planning and manufacturing production schedules.
  • Reduce cost in the procurement of materials through effective negotiation techniques and project-related sourcing strategies.
  • Work to resolve invoice discrepancies and develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Support Engineering on new product development projects.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experienced in inventory management, vendor relations, and demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
