Position Overview:
The General Superintendent will be responsible for:
  • Fostering a culture of mentorship across all trades and personnel levels.
  • Identifying and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Developing a comprehensive project 'Master Plan'.
  • Overseeing the execution and maintenance of the CPMI.
  • Planning and scheduling daily and weekly work activities.
  • Managing tools, materials, and equipment requisition and inventory.
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and quality of work.
  • Coordinating jurisdictional inspections and maintaining rapport with inspectors.
  • Reviewing and updating Labor Hours/Job Costs Reports with project management weekly.
  • Enhancing project efficiency through planning and scheduling without compromising quality or safety.
  • Assisting project management with schedule preparation and resource allocation.
  • Providing training, mentoring, and leadership to field personnel.
  • Ensuring accurate cost coding of time cards and timely submission to corporate.
  • Facilitating efficient project closeout, including punch list completion and final documentation.
