Mechanical Engineer II

At Fairlead Integrated, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze customer specifications and design requirements to develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, sketches, and 3D models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges.
- Provide technical support and guidance to peers and upper-level engineering teams.
- Develop and implement design and manufacturing best practices.
- Assist with on-site and off-site testing to support the qualification of equipment for use onboard Navy ships.
- Intermediate understanding of mechanical engineering principles and proficient practical application.
- Proficient in the use of 3D and 2D CAD software.
- Intermediate understanding of metalwork manufacturing processes and material properties.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with other team members, other departments, and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Solidworks 3D CAD Software.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Software.
The employee is routinely required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, use fingers and hands to type or write, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
