College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach video for photographers in a multicultural environment.

Job Summary:

Adjunct faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and welcome the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach all levels of video to photography program majors, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, digital asset management, and video editing.
  • Maintain an active knowledge of current practices that affect the discipline of photography.
  • Fluency in the ethical standards and principles particular to the field of photography is preferred.
  • Teaching assignments may include a variety of delivery modes, such as face-to-face, hybrid, and/or blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in photography is required.
  • Master's or MFA in Photography is preferred.
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
