RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Associate to join our team. As a Front Office Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient services, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and referring professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration and Scheduling:
    • Register patients for imaging services, processing payment plans and copays
    • Answer phones and handle calls in a friendly and efficient manner
    • Field calls for center associates and act as liaison between technologists and patients
    • Maintain the front office lobby area, including ordering office supplies and maintaining patient information sheets
  • Insurance and Authorization:
    • Verify patient insurance and pre-certify exams with insurance companies
    • Obtain insurance authorization and handle release of information requests
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Arrange transportation, interpreters, and hotel accommodations for patients as needed
    • Enter and submit patient exam orders, verifying that orders match exam schedules
    • Schedule referrals and ensure proper authorizations are obtained
    • Process requests for image orders and CDs from referring physicians and patients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position working Saturday and Sunday, 6:30am-7:00pm.
