Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MMC Las Cruces. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest nuclear medicine technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current NMTCB and NM Nuc Med License.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine, with a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
  • Work in a Joint Commission Accredited facility with a Chest Pain Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
