We are seeking an experienced Surgical Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at HCA West Florida Division. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients in a surgical setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in surgical care.
- Board certification by an appropriate specialty board.
- Active Florida license.
- 1-2 years of surgical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- No surgical first assist required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
