Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Delivery Associate to join our team at State Electric Supply Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a DOT-regulated 26' box truck to deliver products to customers
  • Perform pre-trip safety checks on the vehicle to ensure road readiness
  • Load and secure cargo using chains and binders, and re-check stability throughout trips
  • Inspect trailers before and after loading, and adjust air lines and jack positions as necessary
  • Visit weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations, and make alterations as required
  • Record delivery times and hours worked, and contribute to company data
  • Assist in unloading cargo at delivery sites, and maintain product quality throughout conveyance
  • Adhere to traffic safety regulations, and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a driver role
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and crates, and maintain stamina for long hours of physical labor
  • Strong work ethic, professional attitude, and reliability
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
