Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team at Hearth & Home Technologies. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for operating fiber optic lasers to cut thin-gauge sheet metal, shaking out and staging parts, and utilizing a forklift to load material and off-load cut parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fiber optic lasers to cut thin-gauge sheet metal with high precision and accuracy.
  • Shake out and stage parts to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Utilize a forklift to load material and off-load cut parts, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
  • Troubleshoot machine alarms and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with internal customers to coordinate parts delivery and production timeline to meet or exceed external customer expectations.
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing position, preferably with experience operating a variety of manufacturing machines.
  • Previous experience with operating a forklift is preferred.
  • Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and rotate cell assignments according to job rotation schedule.
