Job Summary

The UCONN Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Gift and Pledge Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Gift and Pledge Management department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Foundation's strategic business goals by processing constituent data information received through various sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gift and Pledge Processing: Enter gifts, pledges, and general constituent biographical information within the Foundation's CRM with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, and attention to donor designation, CASE standards, and the Foundation's Gift and Pledge policies and procedures.
  • Batch Processing and Quality Control: Proof batches with attention to detail, and policy and procedures.
  • Donor Communication: Respond to donor inquiries received with a donor-centric focus.
  • Special Projects and Process Improvement: Perform special enhancement and clean-up projects, and complete work assigned through the weekly task rotation.
  • Matching Gift Claims and Submissions: Serve as the Department liaison for all matching gift claims and submissions.
  • Process Review and Improvement: Review processes and procedures to identify improvements that will increase accuracy and/or efficiency.
  • Training and Onboarding: Support the Associate Director of Pledge and Gift Management with Department training and onboarding.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1+ years of data entry, processing, and reporting experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams), and demonstrated ability to work in multiple system environments.
