The Role

As our Head of Finance, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring fiscal discipline as we scale. This role demands a unique blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and hands-on management skills to effectively lead our finance function in a dynamic high-growth environment.

  • Create and maintain corporate operating plans, defining key assumptions, collaborating with functional leaders to define inputs, presenting outputs clearly and concisely, and providing insights to drive improved outcomes.
  • Oversee our external accounting firm to ensure accurate accounting and timely completion of critical tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to our plan, including cash and expense management.
  • Establish robust systems, financial controls, and processes to support our high-growth business model.
  • Own and manage key metrics and OKRs, including defining, tracking, and reporting on essential performance indicators.
  • Partner with our GTM organization on various analyses, such as pricing strategies, capacity planning, pipeline modeling, and sales productivity.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company grows.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, including our board of directors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant position with increasing responsibilities in a high-growth environment.
  • A strong background in SaaS and deep partnerships with enterprise GTM organizations.
  • Familiarity with various finance tools for different needs, including accounts payable, expense management, GL management, and budget & planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear articulation of ideas and assertive mindset to drive quick alignment on a path forward.
  • Strategic execution capabilities, demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects, set priorities, and drive execution to meet critical milestones.
  • Change management expertise, skilled in implementing process improvements that support business growth.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, analyzing data and trends to provide actionable insights and inform strategic decisions across the company.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to question the status quo.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, proven ability to build relationships and work closely with leaders across departments, contributing to regular reporting and planning.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, identifying and resolving potential roadblocks early on to ensure smooth operations and minimize hindrances from finance tools or processes.

We offer competitive compensation commensurate with industry standards and market rates. For this role, the estimated salary range is $170,000 - $220,000, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.
