Position Overview
Become a vital member of the QinetiQ US team as a Program Manager, contributing to innovative technology and solutions in the domains of robotic and autonomous systems, ground operations, soldier support, and maritime technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and directing ongoing initiatives that align with our AR&MS Profit and Loss objectives. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Serving as the main point of contact for all program-related interactions
- Developing comprehensive program strategies and tracking progress
- Managing project budgets and ensuring financial compliance
- Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Engaging in proposal development and contract discussions
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Leadership with Department of Defense clientele
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in managing complex programs
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
- Proficient in project management software
- Hands-on experience in design and development projects
- Knowledge of DOD/MIL standards
- PMP certification is preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 15%
