Key Responsibilities

Work Schedule:

Branch Clinics: Monday - Friday, with no on-call requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned duties in delivering care to diverse patient populations.
  • Assess patient conditions and carry out care plans, ensuring accurate documentation of relevant information.
  • Respond to patient needs for care, including medication administration and patient education.
  • Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Identify urgent patient care situations and collaborate with registered nurses and physicians as necessary.
  • Assist in diagnostic tests and specialized procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide orientation and training to new staff regarding unit policies and procedures.
  • Promote a healthy work environment that enhances patient care and employee satisfaction.

Additional Duties may vary based on clinic assignment:

Branch Clinics:

  • Engage in daily team meetings to review patient schedules and address logistical needs.
  • Prepare electronic health records and necessary documentation prior to patient appointments.
  • Support the healthcare team in managing patient care processes, including referrals and follow-ups.
  • Compile and share information on community resources available to patients.
  • Foster relationships with external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Oversee the consult/referral process to ensure effective patient tracking.
  • Coordinate patient care to promote compliance and positive health outcomes.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


• Education: Certificate from an accredited nursing program.


• Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from AHA or ARC.


• Additional Certifications: IV therapy, medication administration, and blood transfusion certifications.


• Experience: At least one year of clinical experience as a practical or vocational nurse within the last two years.


• Licensure: Active and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.

* Security Clearance: Ability to pass a government background check.
