At KPMG, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll work with multi-state companies to provide state and local income tax compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver subject matter expertise and industry knowledge
- Review and analyze state income and franchise tax estimated payments
- Build and manage client relationships, supervising and mentoring staff
- Monitor risk and financial performance, including billing, collections, and project budgets
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and contribute to the growth of the KPMG tax practice
- Minimum eight years of experience with state income tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, or pass-through entities
- Strong technical knowledge of multi-state tax issues and relevant state tax concepts
- Excellent writing, compliance, communication, management, and tax compliance skills
- Ability to foster relationships and work in a high-energy team environment
