About the Role

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby unit on a PRN basis. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in maternal care or a related field
