Seafood Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seafood Clerk to join our team at Wegmans. As a Seafood Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and have access to the freshest and highest-quality seafood products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized seafood department: Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure that the department is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
• Process transactions and handle customer payments: Accurately ring up sales, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Unload and stock seafood deliveries: Receive and stock seafood shipments, ensuring that products are properly stored and rotated to maintain freshness.
• Assist with inventory management: Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist with ordering and receiving seafood products.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
• Previous customer service experience: Preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds: Required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Required.
