Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Culture: Champion a culture of safety where all incidents are preventable by exemplifying safety practices, facilitating training, and effectively communicating safety standards.
- Customer Service Excellence: Act as a model of outstanding customer service by proactively addressing the needs of all stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with field management and team members to assess safety, quality, and operational efficiency through regular site visits and audits.
- Operational Management: Ensure operations align with customer and quality expectations by understanding the needs of various stakeholders and allocating resources accordingly.
- Environmental Stewardship: Strategically manage operations in sensitive areas while providing necessary support and guidance.
- Efficiency Optimization: Define and communicate operational expectations, manage resources, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Talent Management: Attract, hire, and retain skilled employees by collaborating with field management and Human Resources to cultivate a workforce that embodies safety and growth.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance by reviewing cost reports, auditing work sites, and managing resource allocation.
- Equipment Management: Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs by coordinating with relevant resources.
- Business Development: Build and maintain customer relationships to foster new business opportunities and retain existing contracts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications or equivalent knowledge in the industry are preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards and operational best practices.
- Excellent conflict resolution and employee engagement skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to make informed decisions based on evidence and maintain confidentiality.
