Position Overview:
This role involves leveraging skills in fundamental patient care, supplementary services, and administrative practices to support healthcare providers in alignment with HealthPartners standards and protocols.

Qualifications:
Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES is required. Prior experience of one or more years is preferred, ideally in a related medical environment.

Essential Skills/Certifications:
Proficient clinical and interpersonal skills are necessary. Effective oral and written communication abilities are essential. Adherence to clinical skill standards and professional ethics as outlined by the AAMA is expected. Basic computer and typing skills are required. Knowledge of age-specific care principles for patient safety is crucial. BLS certification in accordance with AHA guidelines is mandatory.

Additional Insights:
Become an integral part of our Family Medicine division, providing care for a diverse patient demographic. Responsibilities include preparing patients for consultations with providers, administering vaccinations and medications, assisting with data gathering, supporting procedures, and conducting patient follow-ups.
