Job Overview:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Amtec is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians and healthcare teams in making accurate diagnoses or assessing treatment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret imaging orders from physicians or other medical professionals.
  • Explain the CT/X-ray procedures to patients to ensure their understanding.
  • Properly position patients to capture required diagnostic images.
  • Review images to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Update and maintain patient medical records with imaging details.
  • Clean and maintain CT/X-ray equipment.
  • Manage inventory of imaging supplies and request restocks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, Fluoroscopy permit, CRT.
  • Years of experience required: 2 years.
  • First-time travelers accepted: Yes.
  • Weekend requirement: Yes.
  • On-call requirement: No.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: Yes.
  • Floating required to sister facilities: Yes.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
  • Locals accepted: Yes.
  • Pending state license accepted: No.
  • RTO restrictions: No time off in the first two weeks.
  • Equipment: Carestream, GE, and Canon.
