Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineering Leader to enhance our dynamic manufacturing operations.

The facility has a rich history of over 50 years in producing essential equipment that supports our extensive network of dealers. This equipment is vital for creating high-quality retread tires that serve a wide range of fleet customers.

As a Senior Electrical Engineering Leader, you will engage in the research, development, design, and testing of electrical systems, components, and networks. In this pivotal role, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert, drawing on advanced education and extensive experience to tackle complex challenges. You will regularly communicate with leadership to provide updates and insights.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading significant projects or processes with minimal oversight.

• Mentoring and guiding junior professionals.

• Contributing to the operational planning and implementation for your assigned areas.

• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.

• Developing research methodologies for the planning, design, and testing of electrical systems for various applications.

• Fostering strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Alternatively, 6 years with a master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Project Management, PLC Programming, HMI Programming, and Control System Design using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, with trips not exceeding 3 consecutive weeks.
