Job Summary:

Miramar Health Center Kennewick is seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at New Hope Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to patients living with HIV in Central Washington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor health and administer medications to patients living with HIV
  • Provide emotional support and conduct wellness activities to promote patient well-being
  • Plan and coordinate care services to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote HIV awareness and prevention
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing
  • WA state RN license
  • CPR & BLS Certification
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) welcomed
  • Knowledge of established professional nursing concepts, procedures, and medication uses and effects
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills

  • $40.45-$49.56/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
