Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to development standards when no directions are given.
  • Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Must have at least three years of experience or a journeymen trade license in pipe fitting and/or electrical wiring.
  • Must have experience in programming and troubleshooting digital control devices.
  • Must have and maintain a valid NM divers license and be insurable under the company's insurance policy in order to operate company vehicle(s).
