Catholic Musician

We are seeking an accomplished Catholic musician to lead our ensemble in providing musical services for Sunday Mass and special events.

• Plan, organize, and coordinate music selections for the Catholic community.
• Attend bi-weekly rehearsals and perform at Sunday Mass for approximately one hour.
• Support special services such as New Year's Day, Ash Wednesday, Holy Triduum, Easter Vigil, Assumption, All Saints Day, Immaculate Conception, Christmas, and Lenten Communal Reconciliation Services.
• Ensure all audio/visual equipment is set up and tested before each performance.
• Maintain the condition of choir equipment and cleanliness of the choir area after use.

1. Open and secure chapel facilities for ensemble activities.
2. Participate in ongoing education or professional development opportunities to enhance musical skills.

• Ability to read music.
• Familiarity with a wide range of Catholic music, including traditional, contemporary, and liturgical styles.
• Minimum two years of experience as an accompanist or a degree in music with proficiency in piano, keyboard, or organ.
• Maintain a lifestyle consistent with Catholic principles.
