POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Director or Supervisor of Oncology Services or a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting patient care management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completion of an accredited Nursing School.
2.
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
3. Prior experience in oncology settings is preferred.
4. Experience in a medical office environment is advantageous.
5.
1-2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing is preferred.
6. Must meet the criteria for physical/pre-placement evaluations.
As necessary, the individual possesses training and competency in addressing the unique needs and/or behaviors pertinent to the age group of the patients receiving care.
