About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Children's Mercy KC. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of assigned sections, ensuring adherence to quality assurance and record-keeping standards, and providing leadership, technical assistance, and training to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all testing performed during assigned shifts
  • Supervise all personnel within assigned shifts
  • Develop, oversee, and enforce quality assurance activities for the sections
  • Maintain general operations within the Laboratory sections
  • Perform all functions of staff MLS
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Medical Technologist - AMT, Certified Medical Technologist - ASCP, Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist - ASCP
