Ab Initio Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer to join our team at Scalene Works People Solution LLP. As an Ab Initio Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building solutions using the Ab Initio tool stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex ETL solutions using Ab Initio, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Analyze data sources, identify trends, and draw conclusions to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain complex ETL solutions, including data transformation, data quality, and data governance.
- Work with the development team to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements.
- Perform deployment of code to QA, UAT, and Production using CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).
Requirements:
- 7+ years of ETL/BI/DW solution development and implementation experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Ab Initio (GDE 3.1 or higher) and its components.
- Solid knowledge of the Ab Initio execution environment (shell scripting, debugging, metadata).
- Hands-on development experience using Ab-Initio that includes Graphs, Plans, EME, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT Technology.
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata and Oracle database systems.
- Strong expertise in SQL Concepts, writing complex queries, query optimization, UNIX shell scripting.
- Well-versed with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge/understanding of US healthcare domain is preferred.
