About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer to join our team at Scalene Works People Solution LLP. As an Ab Initio Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable solutions using the Ab Initio tool stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex ETL solutions using Ab Initio, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing system design and its components, and make recommendations for new code development or reuse of existing code.
  • Analyze various data sources, identify trends, and draw conclusions, working closely with teams to review and validate findings.
  • Understand and optimize complex ETL solutions in place, performing tuning and fixes as required.
  • Deploy code to QA, UAT, and Production environments using CI/CD practices.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in ETL/BI/DW solution development and implementation.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Ab Initio (GDE 3.1 or higher) and its components, with a strong technical understanding of Ab Initio execution environment.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Concepts, UNIX shell scripting, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Teradata and Oracle database systems, with a strong expertise in query optimization.
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare domain is a plus.
