Position Overview:

As a key member of the Family Medicine Residency Program, the Core Faculty will play a pivotal role in both the clinical and administrative aspects of the program. This position is designed for a dedicated family physician who is board-certified and possesses experience in teaching and leadership.

General Responsibilities:

- Assist in the management and strategic direction of the Family Practice Residency Program.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical services to patients in a family practice environment.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and other faculty to enhance the residency experience and curriculum.

Key Highlights:

- Join a newly established Family Medicine Residency at WellSpan Health in Chambersburg, PA.
- Engage in the development of a robust educational curriculum and hands-on training experiences in line with ACGME standards.
- Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, and mentorship of residents.
- Focus on building a patient panel within the residency outpatient practice.

Qualifications:

- Board certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFM) is required.
- Completion of a Family Practice residency is mandatory.
- Teaching and mentoring skills are essential for this role.
