Position Title:
Adjunct Faculty, Physics
Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to join our team in the Physics Department. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching introductory calculus-based or algebra-based physics labs servicing multiple STEM major programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lecture and lab sessions that cater to diverse learning styles
- Design and implement assessments that measure student learning outcomes
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students
- Stay current with developments in the field of physics and incorporate relevant research and best practices into your teaching
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in physics or a related STEM field
- PhD degree in physics or a related STEM field (preferred)
- Teaching experience in physics or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
