Description:The Department of Philosophy seeks an adjunct instructor/adjunct assistant professor to teach an introductory course in Eastern Philosophy (Indian, Chinese, Japanese) and an introductory course entitled Life, Death, and Immortality (with a cross-cultural emphasis). Teaching experience plus PhD or ABD preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Teaching courses described above
• Grading student work
• Maintaining office hours
- MA in Philosophy
- PhD in Philosophy or ABD
- Previous college level philosophy teaching experience
