Retail Store Leadership Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Store Leadership Trainee to join our team at 7-Eleven. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and work closely with our experienced Store Leaders to drive business growth and excellence.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time position offering competitive pay, with an estimated salary of $45,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a Retail Store Leadership Trainee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and supporting store operations to ensure seamless day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to store employees on customer service standards, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to develop leadership skills, sales techniques, and operational knowledge.
- Store Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store environment, adhering to health and sanitation procedures, and meeting merchandising and marketing program requirements.
- Cash Handling and Fuel Transactions: Accurately handle cash, operate fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program to increase customer engagement.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
- Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during employment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers.
- Basic Computer Knowledge: Proficiently use Microsoft products (Word, Excel) to manage tasks, track inventory, and analyze sales data.
