Job Description
\Havertys is a leading furniture retailer offering top-quality home furnishings and exceptional customer service. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class service to customers while creating a professional experience for team members.
\The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, interior design, and leadership, with experience in retail sales management and a college education preferred. They will be responsible for selling, coaching, training, merchandising, controlling inventory, and overseeing store operations.
\This is an excellent opportunity for those who aspire to Store Management and are willing to work in various Havertys locations. The ability to relocate to other locations is preferred but not required. Additional consideration will be given to those willing to relocate within the company.
\Main Responsibilities:

- Inspire team members to deliver personalized design, quality home furnishings, and outstanding customer experiences.\
- Represent the Havertys brand through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.\
- Boldly coach, lead, and develop teams to promote a positive and dynamic store environment.\
- Demonstrate a commitment to the company's values: Customer Focus, Integrity, Quality, Teamwork, History, and Heritage.\
- Attract, train, and develop top talent at all levels of the business.\
- SUPPORT OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM WITH NEW INITIATIVES AND TRAINING.\
- Deliver top results with a positive attitude, recognizing and responding to complex priorities.\
- Lead by example, ensuring Havertys Associates feel supported and inspired.\
- Occasionally lift and move furniture items using team lifting or available tools for floor relocation.\
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.\
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, embracing new ideas and technologies.\
- Promote our complimentary design service, showcasing passion for interior design.\
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive business growth.\
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and leadership.\
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.\
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.\
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.\
- A love for sales, creating happiness with customers, and building lasting relationships.\
- Furniture and interior design experience are highly valued, but not required.\
- College education preferred, High School / GED or equivalent required; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.\
- Attractive base pay with bonus potential up to $55K plus incentives, flexible health plan offerings, and 401(k) dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%.\
