Position:
Retail Merchandise Specialist, OCVIBE

Compensation:
The starting hourly wage for this role is $20.00.

The Retail Merchandise Specialist operates in a dynamic retail environment driven by sports and events, committed to delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective resource management to handle workloads and provide high-quality service, ensuring every customer enjoys a remarkable experience. This is a part-time, non-exempt role within the Merchandise / Marketing division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage guests promptly
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and assist guests with inquiries
  • Set up merchandise displays efficiently before events and dismantle them afterward
  • Guide customers in product selection, address questions, and provide outstanding service
  • Operate the POS system, manage transactions, and gather customer information
  • Understand policies and procedures thoroughly to assist customers effectively
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events
  • Support inventory management and ensure proper organization of merchandise
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Shopify POS is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to maintain high productivity levels over extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 0-1 Year

This position is on-site.
