We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Acute Medsurgical. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana.
- American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment.
- Current NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs.
- Current Arrhythmia recognition at time of hire or within 8 weeks of hire for experienced RNs.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced Acute Medsurgical unit. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
