RiverSpring Health Plans is dedicated to providing high-quality care to its members, and we are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse Manager to join our team.
The Wound Care Nurse Manager will be responsible for evaluating, teaching, and training staff, members, and their families on wound care management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and the Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans for members with active wounds.
- Monitor the effectiveness of current wound treatment plans and provide follow-up, direction, and instruction to staff, members, and their families.
- Provide educational in-services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License required.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in an Acute Care setting required.
- Current Wound Care Certification.
- Staff development or adult instruction, and/or home care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long Term Care standards for home care required.
- MS Office required.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of the organization.
Compensation
$110,000-$125,000 Annually
