About the Role:

As a Laborer at Hensel Phelps, you will play a vital role in supporting the skilled crafts working on our aviation infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance to form carpenters, concrete operations, ironworkers, and masons, ensuring the smooth execution of construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing areas for job sites

Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete materials

Assist welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople on site

Use power tools and machinery as needed

Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks

Set up and transfer temporary structures

Handle and transport materials and personnel

Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools

Distribute site materials according to project plans and specifications

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License

Ability to follow safe work practices in accordance with Hensel Phelps' safety and health program

Experience with a wide variety of construction machinery

Knowledge of maintenance of various construction equipment

Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading

OSHA 10 Certification

CPR & First Aid Certification
